Great Pencil, Wrong Color
I have ordered these pencils over the years and they are my favorite pencils. Not much variety in color available though so I went with blue. Unfortunately, I received a gray one. Took a star off for that.

smooth flowing lead; good eraser
These mechanical pencils have all of the attributes that satisfy my need for a pencil and so I like them. The lead is soft so it doesn't scratch. It is thicker (0.7) that the thin and frequently scratchy 0.5 leads. It is dark enough to be very legible. One clicks the end a couple of times to push the lead out for writing and one clicks the end again and pushes the lead back in when one does not want the lead to be out. The grip is non slippery and fairly well proportioned for comfort. The eraser is of good material such that marks are erased immediately and without smudging. I like the fact that there is no cover on the eraser because one can flip the pencil to rub out quickly without taking the time to pull off and hold or lose the cover, and the eraser is well secured and not floppy. The pencil has a pocket clip if it is needed.

Comfort and Quality
I wanted a mechanical pencil for work and needed one a little fatter for my arthritic hand. This is a perfect fit - comfortable to hold, easy advance for lead, and larger eraser which I prefer other another model I also purchased. I will buy this pencil again if anything happens to this one but so far every day use, minor abuse in the field, and this one is holding-up quite nicely!

Finally! A pencil I can love to write with!
This is a very good quality pencil. It feels nice while writing and does not fatigue my hand or fingers. I have been searching for the right pencil for a long time, and for me, I have finally found it. Also, I want to add that I used the "PhD" by Sanford and while that was a good pencil, it did not feel quite right in my grip. Also the last 2 PhD's that I bought broke down within a couple of months. Not good. But I do highly recommend this mechanical pencil. Very nice!
