SkyMall Easy to Install Magnetic Blinds 25" x 68"

This product was advertised as magnetic ... that’s why I bought it. The label clearly says magnetic but it is not. There are mounting brackets and the installation instructions clearly state to use a 3/32” dia steel drill bit to mount in metal surfaces. I am not happy!!!UPDATE** I always read reviews before ordering ... except before ordering these blinds! I probably would not have ordered them reading the reviews noting they are not magnetic. But in the end, I mounted as instructed on my steel doors, and I am absolutely thrilled. They are perfect. They do come with the typical plastic pieces to hold the bottom down, but I have never liked those on any blind I have so I am going to buy magnets. Temporarily I have a small piece of white duct tape (rolled so sticky on outside) on each bottom corner. Works like a champ! I am glad I bought these. They certainly were reasonable for aluminum blinds!! I read other reviews for other magnetic blinds and there were many complaints about not staying in the door if you raised/lowered the blinds or open/shut the door so I guess it is a design flaw.

These blinds are definitely a novel idea. But, the engineer who designed the end caps where the magnets are located didn't bother to check the fit. The caps fit very loose and the only reason the blinds don't constantly fall is there is another magnetic cap at the other end. However, if the door is closed hard, the blinds will fall to the floor. I've used duct tape to hold the end caps in place. Not real happy - especially for what they charged for the items.

I ordered Magnetic Blinds for a Steel 15 panel glass door.The product received came with No Magnetic Contacts and the string and open/close rod are both on the same side.Is this a much cheaper product than what I ordered and paid for?Also there was no spacer part included for the bracket to extend the blinds beyond the door moldingsThe online video shows different instructions and product /

NOT magnetic!!!! fell down and bent all upwaste of money

They weren't magnetic to hold up on a door.
