This is a great sauce from the stable of Pesto, Italy. Goes very well with Sandwiches.Surprisingly this product is out of stock , given its growing popularity. Alternatives suggested cannot hold candle to this original stuff.

The packaging was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised about the way it came. It was fresh and in perfect condition. Definitely glad this is available on Amazon.

The best pasta sauce I've bought from the market. Better than other Barilla pasta sauces too.Good for 4 servings.

I just used it once and the next time I took it out of the refrigerator to use it, it was covered in fungus, had to throw the whole bottle away. Waste of money, I do not recommend this as the taste wasn’t good either. Please go for some other product.

This is the most delicious pasta sauce I've ever had.

The description mentioned that the product is vegetarian and even the ingredient list indicates veg items but the bottle had the red dot indicating non veg contents. Sadly, had to return it, was looking forward to cook up a nice Pici pasta with it :(

Als Pesto oder auch als untere Schicht auf Wraps

Das Pesto von Barilla ist in einem Glas mit Schraubverschluss. Es sind 190 g, was ich nach wie vor nicht nachvollziehen kann, denn durch solche Einwaagen umgehen die Hersteller z.B. eine Preiserhöhung, und wenn sie nicht verpflichtet wären, den kg-Preis anzugeben, dann hätte man es als Verbraucher noch schwerer, das jeweilige Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis zu bestimmen.Davon mal abgesehen ist das Produkt von Barilla aber ausgezeichnet gewürzt. Es hat auch Schärfe, jedoch nicht zu sehr. Wer so etwas mag, wird hier gut bedient. Natürlich eignet es sich sehr gut zu Nudeln in jeglicher Form. Das ist ja klar bei diesem Hersteller. Danke zudem an einen anderen Rezensenten, der mich auf die Idee gebracht hat, das Pesto auch als Brotaufstrich zu verwenden. Tolle Idee! Das schmeckt auch sehr lecker. Für eine 4-köpfige Familie braucht man schon ein ganzes Glas, wenn man das Pesto bei der Hauptmahlzeit verwendet. Wir haben noch in ein wenig Öl Zwiebeln und Knoblauch angebraten und Thunfisch zugegeben. Das schmeckt auch gut, aber ich mag es lieber pur. Da ist alles drin, was man für ein gutes Pesto braucht.Die aufgeführten Zutaten und das Fehlen z.B. von künstlichen Konservierungsstoffen machen das Produkt empfehlenswert, zumal das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ganz ordentlich ist. So gibt es von mir trotz der eingangs geäußerten Kritik 5 Sterne.

Schmeckt sehr lecker

schmeckt mir als Pesto nicht. Habe es als Dip zum gebratenen Fleisch zweckentfremdet, da schmeckt es ganz gut.
