My 4 yr old is obsessed with helping me cook and I was so happy to see products like these made so our children can be involved and not worry about being harmed. My older 3 children, things like this didn't exist back then. She did so well and as a mom, I couldn't be more happy! The glove, I put on her non-dominant hand to hold the food. I was really only concerned with her wearing the glove when using the peeler and green metal chopper. The rest are all plastic or wood and not sharp but gosh do they do a fabulous job chopping veggies! I was so surprised to see that plastic knife do so well chopping carrots. Highly recommend. This product was affordable and a fabulous find.

My child was so excited to get this set. He loves to help cook and bake. So this is an awesome set that he can help prep with. The only negative I'd have to say is that the cutting board slides around when in use. Best use it with a towel or rubber mat under it so that it won't move so much.

I am happy with the majority of the set. I bought this set for the knives, which all work fine, and the protective glove makes me feel a lot better about letting my preschooler practice cutting. However, I can't give it 5 starts because the peeler "blade" snapped very easily the first time we used it.

Great set for a young “chef”! The wooden cutter worps really bad if it is left in water for more than a minute though. The knifes are not sharp so the user has to move them to use the serrated blades. I like that it comes with cut safe glove for piece of mind while the little ones learn knife safety.

These knives have been SO great for my 3 year old, I wish I'd gotten them a year ago! The way they are serrated is with a rounded scallop so they work great for chopping vegetables and are still completely safe for her skin. I had a hard time visualizing how serrated could be safe for kids, now I see!The only downside is that the cutting glove is made for bigger kids - 5/6ish so it got in the way of her cutting when she tried it. Overall one of my favorite kid buys ever!

I was looking for knives young children can use and was delighted to find this package deal! We watched a quick video off of YouTube on knife safety for kids. They now know how to properly hold a knife and how to cut with safety. Great training knives.

My son is a little chef and the knives work great. I have used them to cut fruit myself. The crinkle cutter is extremely sharp. Super dangerous and the glove is too big for toddler hands. Other than that it’s a nice set.

Have recommended this set to all of my friends! We love it. Well made and cute!
