Q: Is the net removable?

The one I bought does not have a removable net.

No, the hat is not adjustable. It has a chin strap though, so I would size up rather than down, since the chin strap would help to keep the hat in place. I have a smaller size woman head and purchased the size 8, as I don't like anything too tight on my head. The description says the hat is 100% polyester, but it feels more like cotton canvas. It's a sturdy and well-made hat.
