The conductive fabric is very nice and has a highly conductive silver surface.The grounding cord on both kits that I bought were defective.On both, the banana plug end that the alligator clip plugs to, was not connected electrically to the cord.I had to cut off the banana plug and solder the alligator clip directly to the wire.Then I covered it with heat shrink tubing.So beware if you have bought one of these kits, get out your ohm meter and see if your cord has any connectivity end to end.****Up-Date****I was contacted by the seller "Tarianaz" and they are sending two new cords to me. :-)The grounding cord has some sort of safety resistor? in the banana plug/clip end. I did not know this.Plus they are sending me instructions on the proper way to test the grounding cord.*******Up-Date******Two new cords arrived in the mail (with testing instructions), and are working Great!

We started using this with no idea if it really worked. We drape it over the wifi router and two types of phones on our desk and plug it in to the nearest wall outlet. My husband bought a $36 EMF tester and without the Faraday cloth it registered the wifi router at 197.6 milli Gauss. With the cloth over it, it registered 0.0 ! We switched the tester to measure micro Tesla and it measured 17.51 and zero with the cloth over it! If you are picky about the looks of it, you would want to know that it feels like plastic and looks quite creased the more you use it. But we care more about the protection! Thank you for this product!

Tried, tested and true! I tested this material and its grounding continuity is excellent. I purchased this  Meterk EMF Meter Electromagnetic Field Radiation Detector Handheld Mini Digital LCD EMF Detector Dosimeter Tester Counter  to also test its ability to block EMF's and it reduced the exposure from well over 30 mG's down to ZERO in front of my wireless modem/router.

I still can detect emf using my gauss meter despite blocking the emf source with this fabric. I gave it 2 stars because it's good at masking thermal signatures.. I couldn't detect heat using my thermal camera once anything is wrapped in this emf fabric.

This was a complete waste of money. I bought it to put around my modem and I grounded it, thinking it'd be a quick fix while I learned how to make more changes. My Acoustimeter showed zero difference around it, even doubled or tripled. Sigh. So.... waste of money. I didn't bother returning it, but probably should have. Live and learn. Turns out there are many, many scams involving trying to mitigate rf radiation.... Some products work, some don't.
