Lion Football Gums, 2000 Gram

They are a family favourite the quality and taste beat the rest that’s for sure.

The box I recieved contained mostlygood old Lions Sports mixtures' BUT somebody has added some vastly inferior soft gueiy crap gums I suspect to make up the weight. These added gums are only just a solid and more akin to pre-chewed chewing gum. Two things come to mind. Either the sweets are seconds from Lions in which case they should be a lot cheaper. OR they have been added to with vastly inferior product to make up the weight in which case they should be a lot cheaper. ether way they are a con and vastly over priced.

My favourite sweets along with Lyon’s midget gems. Not many shops sell these so it’s great being able to purchase online and works out cheaper too. The flavour is as good as it’s always been, especially the black ones which are my favourite!

There's have the original licorice black gums, but i don't know how long before the recipe for these gets messed up to handle the sugar tax, but at the moment they are still solid and chewy not gummy and soft

My other half loves these so to be ae to buy a box full is fab, always fresh quality and a good mixture of the different flavours. Only thing I don't like is the packaging, they come wrapped in a bit of plastic with the address on so you can see what's inside clearly, I'd prefer it to come in a cardboard box which can be recycled and it keeps the product hidden if it's for a gift too.

Better than my old favourites now, which used to be sports mixture, but they kept messing about with the flavour and texture, turning them more into wine gums. These remain true to form, and have done for some time. I prefer the black ones. since they are harder than the others & taste slightly like liquorice. The green are the next best, with lots of flavour. As long as they never change, i'll keep buying!
