TRG Super Color Spray Leather, Vinyl and Canvas Dye (#645 Chocolate / 3.77 Oz.)

Not worth the money for the tiny can that would not even finish one coat on a lamp shade, and it would need to coats, doesn't cover well

I received a beautiful and expensive leather jacket as a Christmas gift. Yesterday I stupidly attempted to spray some pruning sealant on a tree while wearing the jacket. Bad idea. I don't know what I was thinking of, but the result was splattered goop all over the jacket. I removed the goop with acetone, but it took off a lot of the finish as well. I looked for products on Amazon that I could use to restore the finish. The TRG product comes in a large selection of colors, so I was able to match the coat to a color I thought was close to the jacket. I received the can of spray today and tried it on one of the splotches. The match was perfect. I know I was lucky there, but with nearly 50 shades available, I was more likely to find a match than with other products. I sprayed all the "ruined" areas on the jacket, and it is like new again. I could not be happier. I was going to attach a photo showing how great the jacket still looks, but because of the way the light reflects off the leather, the photo looks blotchy, although that is not so to the naked eye.

Price relative to materialI purchased four cans to spray this pair of boots. I needed 6 cans. It does not cover well and the cans feel 1/4 full. I know what I’m talking about as the boots are sitting on my hobbie project, automotive restoration.Next time I will use the bottle for half the cost and use a spray gun!

I have no problem with the paint other than way too expensive for the size! My complaint is with the company "SHOETREEMARKETPLACE" I ordered 8 cans of Maroon at $9 a can, I was usingbit to spray my $115 felt western hat. I reached in box and used a can on hat, then got another one and started spraying ant it was Burgundy! Darker & now im not sure I can get it off to respray. So someone in warehouse messed up & the company will not oen up to it! As a matter of fact he told me I'm responsible for shipping it back! Also one can was faulty & wouldn't spray correctly & paint was streaming down the sides and all over my hand so I couldn't even use it! I do not recomend buying from this company!

I had my doubts about this product, tried lots of leather products for my boots but nothing! This was the last chance and voila!! My boots are super shiny just like they were new ones!! Love it and will surely hit it again !

This was a very small can of spray dye not suitable for even a small project. The dye does not cover well...lots of bleed through.

This did not meet my expectations. The van was extremely small. It took all that I bought and it still didn’t cover. I had to buy another product from Walmart and that one did cover. If your space is small and the colors are close, this may work fine. I was covering a zebra print fabric cube with dark brown and it just didn’t cut it.

The color in the can did not match what the can stated. It seems that the color was not mixed correctly. I had 2 cans sent to me and had the same issue; the color was like a muddy green instead of the tan/brown color. I used this color last year to paint some shoes and it was fine; this year something went very wrong with the mixing- seems to be a manufacturing issue. Do not buy this if you need this color as it seems to be a very low possibility that you will get that correct color.
