Our house oddly has a full size walk in shower next to the kitchen. It is only used by our grandkids when they come over. Most of the time it is unused. About once a month I smell a sewer odor as the water in the drain evaporates below the trap releasing sewer gas into the house. I try to remember to run the shower for about 5 minutes once a month but sometimes forget. This solved the problem. Would definitely buy again.

There's not too much to say about these. But they work! You place one over the drain, gently push it down, and it stops the drain. Nice and simple, easy to clean - and it's great that they come in a set of two in case of wear and tear with time. I use them all the time now and I'm very happy to have ordered them!

I got this Tub Stopper Floor Drain Cover hoping it would solve some drainage issues in my bathroom. it does effectively stop water from going down the drain, there are a few drawbacks.Firstly, the fit isn't as snug as I expected. It tends to slip around a bit, especially when water pressure increases. This can be quite annoying, as I find myself having to readjust it frequently.Secondly, the material is a bit flimsy. I'm worried it might tear or degrade quickly with regular use. It could definitely be more durable.On the positive side, the silicone material is easy to clean, and it does prevent unwanted debris from going down the drain.

I use this on the drain of a shower. When I run an air conditioner in the next room, which vents out the window, it causes negative pressure that draws air and sewer gas up through the shower drain. Normally, this would be stopped by water in the system, but this is an unused shower.This drain cover seems to have resolved the problem. I ran the air conditioner most of the day and didn't smell anything.The product seems well made for what it is - it's a decent thickness, and it doesn't smell. One side is smooth and the other side is slightly rougher. The cloudy surface blends in with what's below it. It has a ring built into the corner that helps you peel it up from a flat surface.The only change I would make is for the product to either be heavier or have a grippy surface, perhaps a slight adhesive. It's fairly light, and if your drain isn't perfectly flat or isn't on a perfectly flat surface, it might be hard to get a perfect seal. Being heavier would also make it more likely to work with slightly larger pressures involved.

I got these to try to limit the odours and any water eruption from our basement floor drain. While the odours ceased within a few hours, it definitely does not work as a drain stopper. The surface would have to be perfectly flat as water starts to penetrate under the corners of the mat. Since each mat (it comes in a handy pack of 2) is super lightweight and thin, it does not have the weight to hold itself down to form a good suction to stop water, no matter which side I used.So for odours it is a good, cheap solution but for any attempt at water stoppage, it's a no go.The price is ok for two at $7/each for the 6x6" size.

got this toblock the drain( after buying sink plugs at stores that didnt fully fit or block water) this works on all drains and easily sticks to side when not in use. simple and good
