The Drybar 8 in 1: The Mazerati of Hair Styling Tools
DRYBAR ALL INCLUSIVE 8 in 1This is 1 wand and 4 accessories, so Why is it called 8 in 1? Because 3 accessories can be used with or without air (warm or cool), and the other has a fast and slow mode. I initially thought it would require a small garage (or large bathroom) for storing all the pieces, but it fits into a small quilted “carpet bag” . Here’s a blow by blow(er) review by a small bathroom gal.Short Review? A lot of fun and makes my hair look great. My hair is 2b, thick and tends to frizz, but for some reason the 8 in 1 leaves it smooth, frizz free and lovely. The Details:THE WAND: Requires three buttons to turn it on from “cold”. 1. Power 2. Air (3 settings) and 3. Heat (3 settings). After you set it there’s a fourth button that can be used to toggle from pause to restart (or long press for ‘style set mode’). The attachments snap onto this wand. Note that the lower section is filled with vent holes and buttons, which mustn’t be covered when “air” is being used.THE BLOW DRYER (Aka Concentrator): It must have been a challenge to design a vertical blow dryer. For the “High” air setting direct air to the single slot, for the “low” setting choose the dual slots (just twist to choose). Most of the air blasts out of a 1” space near the bottom of the slots. (pp 12-13)THE 2”CURLING (& BLOWER) BRUSH: Like all the products, this can be used on slightly damp hair (with air) or on dry hair (no air). The bristles are brush-like, and the tips are coated. It can be safely stored (without bending the bristles) on top of the other tools. I think it’s best for nearly-dry hair (I think pulling too hard through wet hair might damage the bristles or their tips). (pp8-9) I hope they plan to sell replacements, as no brush lasts forever.CURLING IRON and Flat Iron (Both With or Without Air): What is that Gray Snap On Piece with the teeth? It’s something that snaps onto the flat iron. The Booklet: is 21 pages, but don’t be overwhelmed. There are lots of pictures, and it demystifies this powerful styling tool.Considerations? Even the compact carpet bag takes up some space (of course) as it measures 12"x8" when zipped up. Also there's a little learning curve in terms of remembering what parts get hot when it's being used, how dry the hair should be before using the blower brush and how to avoid covering vents or pressing buttons inadvertently. Practice makes perfect.

Wow!
Love! So many tools in one! Leaves my hair looking sleek, smooth, and frizz free. My favorite is the round brush, gives my hair that voluminous look, while still looking sleek. I've been using for a few months now with zero issues.

Great, except one thing
Love the air dry and then heat but I wish they put the ampage on this, as it blows my bathroom circuit Everytime and now I'll need to change the outlets

The best Hair tool on the market
OK, this machine works like a dream. I was so pleasantly surprised at how well it works just as good as some of the way more expensive ones if not better does everything from straighten your hair to curl your hair to waive your hair.

It's just too big
This was a good idea in theory (interchangeable dryer/heat brush with different attachments), but this product is mostly a bust. Its biggest drawback is that is humongous. Like, who is this for? The target market is women but it's hard to get your hands around this beast and maneuver it through your hair. The brush did not smoothly glide through my hair and it was a lot of work to use this thing. I tried the curling iron and flat iron attachments but again, the size of this thing makes using it more difficult than it needs to be. I'd rather use my regular flat iron and curling iron. I also find it easier to just use my regular hair dryer and a round brush. Gonna give this thing a pass.

Premium brand, premium quality
They were not kidding when they named the set "All inclusive". This product has every attachment that a hair tool enthusiast can ask for. Right from the packaging, the fully colored instruction manual, the well-thought-out storage bag, to the tools and the attachments themselves, it exudes quality. The attachments can be used to dry and style hair right out of a shower. The hair dryer can be used to rough dry or smooth the hair by rotating the cool tip to change the airflow direction. All the attachments can be used on damp or dry hair, so it is essential to towel dry the hair first and then use this dual side concentrator to dry it even more, if needed.Once the hair is almost dried so that it's slightly damp, depending on what style one wants, the flat iron or the curling iron can be used. Or, the round brush can be used for some serious volume. The instruction manual is very informative and it describes how to use each of the attachments in a step by step guide with colored pictures.I really like the storage bag that came with it and it is of very nice quality as well.I really like the set even though some of the attachments can feel heavy in weak hands. I like to wear my hair curled most of the time and I'm spoiled with the automatic rotating curling irons. I I've been looking for a hair tool with different attachments to flat iron and curl hair, since my hair is naturally curly but doesn't look good if I don't style it. And everyone who is in my situation knows that hair should be straightened first in order to curl later. This tool with all the attachments is almost what I have been looking for except just a small wish that someday, Drybar or some other hair tool manufacturer would come up with a tool that would have an automatic rotating curling iron and a flat iron as attachments.
