Never worked.
Dead on arrival. I bought this about a year ago. I held onto it until my niece got her license a few days ago to give to her. Well this this worked straight from the box. I put a new card in it and it keeps saying we need to insert one. Card works on my other dash cams and cameras so it’s not the card.I wish I tried it out when I received it for this reason. It’s my own fault. Needless to say I’m gonna have to buy another one but will not buy online.

May be hard to see the screen after a couple of months.
Video quality is great. No complaint there. My issue is the screen went white 3 and a half months after i received it. It still records perfect video, just can’t see it on the screen anymore. I don’t know how often this happens so choose wisely.

Bad product
Bad quality product in short sentences. The battery is warming as it gets charged and keep getting blue screen when attempting to playback. The menu options are bad and hard to get it working. It took forever to change the date and time. Why would someone use REC button for “select” option? I’m going to return it for sure.UPDATE: I got a message from the Auckey customer service and they replaced the piece promptly. I loved their response and addressed the problem right away.

Get while on sale
Gotntyis camera on a lightning deal for $5. Have to say, easily yue best $5 I've spent. I don't know now if I would recommend buying this camera at their $50 price point, but its regularly on sale or their is a coupon, so if your wondering, yeah, buy it when there is a sale.

Interfere with Toyota key fob
The S3 model do not allow review anymore, but for all Auking dash cam should be the same radio frequency. My 2011 Toyota Highlander having issue with "key not detected" while driving, brought it to dealer 2 times and found out the dash cam interfere with the key fob. Scary issue with key fob not detected while during. If you have a late model Toyota with key less start, please don't buy their dash cam.

good picture.
Received as a gift ... good picture ... connects to vehicle ... will not connect to p.c. ... can not do anything but record from vehicle ... can not use any other options. UPDATE - you must have video in camera for pc to recognize ... instructions are bad ... difficult to operate ... thus a 2 rating.
