Liked it so nice, I had to buy it twice...no seriously. Both lamps were for me, and I am not ashamed. I am living for it!These lamps are heavyweight glass, chunky...beautiful! If ocean/aquatic/light clean scents are your preference, the included alcohol-based fuel will provide an enjoyable fragrance to get you started. You also receive a neutral fuel to weaken fragrances that are too strong and to use during fragrance changes.I used to work in a boutique 10 years ago that sold these lamps and had to explain/ troubleshoot Lampe Berger.So many of our customers were obsessed long before I started selling lamps. I just decided to pick these two up off Amazon, and I forgot how much I enjoyed these catalytic/effusion lamps.The style would match nearly any decor, and they look expensive for the price!The packaging is quality too! If you have a friend who loves home fragrance, candles, wax melts, etc... this would make a great gift.TIPS/BASIC HOW TO:When inserting or removing the wick hold it by the metal cuff. Having clean, oil free hands is also helpful. Do NOT touch the stone at the top of the wick. This will clog the wick over time.Resist the urge to overfill you’re lamp. Halfway only.Let fuel soak into wick full 25-30 minutes.Let the flame “settle” before you burn it out and place the decorative vented lid on. Flame will be big at first.Do not let your lamp burn completely out of fragrance. This will shorten the life of your wick.Use solid snuffer cap to put out lamp.*Note* this is NOT an OIL LAMP. It doesn’t burn oil. Oil will ruin your lamp.Keep away from kids.Enjoy!!!

I mean, or maybe both :) Either way, I enjoy the way that this product works. It eliminates 420 odors and cooking smells like no one else's business after you burn it for 20-30 minutes and open up your windows. I've even used it to get rid of a horrendous burnt coffee smell that permeated throughout my apartment after leaving the pot on all day. I cook a lot and I smoke a lot, and my house smells fresh pretty much all of the time. Bonus: the unit itself makes for a beautiful conversation piece when guests are over!Both of the scents that come with this gift set smell great (like, seriously great - So Neutral <3), but they are fairly small. I used my lamp with both fragrances pretty frequently and went through both oils in about 5-6 days. Not complaining - just a heads up! I have refills coming in a larger size on Saturday from another Amazon merchant, but all of them don't seem to be Prime eligible and the shipping times might be a little wonky. So, with hindsight being 20/20, I'd say you should probably order this set for its phenomenal value and the refills simultaneously. 'Cause you're gonna love this thing, and you're gonna want to burn it often, and you will want to avoid the sad face that ~I~ had on day 3 when I realized I was getting low. :)So yeah, Lampe Berger. Don't know what I've been doing with my life without it!

This lamp was a new concept to me but I wanted to give it a try. I’d never been into essential oils but always have loved candles. It’s really easy to use. Use the funnel and fill with oil. Put in wick. Let wick soak twenty minutes. Light the lamp and let the flame burn for two minutes. Be careful the flame will be quite high when you light it. This is normal. After two minutes blow out the flame and put the protective cap on do no one gets burnt. Let diffuser work for about 45 minutes then put stopper on to put out the coal. Ocean breeze is by far the best scent in my opinion.

I used one of these lamps before in smaller rooms. At the time I was impressed. To be fair that one was larger and the volume was smaller as any of my current home rooms. I thought the scent was too strong but was able to soften it with the neutral one. I intended to use it when cooking but so far the strong smells overpower it by far. I would recommend it for smaller rooms.

Here is the thing, if you want this for everyday use it will get very expensive. If you do not follow the instructions on how to use, you will be very disappointed with yourself. If you plan to use this once a week, once a month, or when you expect guests them this is for you.We love it at home, so much so that we actually have a total 19 at home. One in each room and 2/3 in great rooms. it not only smells great it also kills other lingering smells in the air.You really need to understand what you want to do achieve, first.

I think I’d really enjoy the product if I was able to use it , to spend about $60 on the set and for it to be as fragile as it is..as soon as I opened the product box not the Amazon box , the pieces were everywhere. Nothing was secured with tape, bubble wrap, etc. I then realized that the wick had been broken. I will need a replacement and can’t use it. I think the packaging could definitely be improved.I even tried calling the customer service line, that was no help, I’m disappointed in the service.

I love this product. Great gift. Better then candles for giving your home a clean fresh smell
