Look no further, I would have to say this is the best mattress of all of Amazon has to offer. I've been through a few myself. And different products through them and regretted every single One of them pretty much until this one The Casper has nothing to lie about when it says medium. It is a real medium which is perfect. I was looking at stuff. That said that they were really firm beds hard even cause of my back and our weight that it wouldn't just destroy And after Spence sing thousands of dollar and going through tons of companies on here doesn't compare to this one.. It is the best. I've had it over a year now. And it's still brand new, not a dead. My back Pain almost gone I highly recommend it Thank you, casper and hopefully you will never change the way you make your mattresses

This mattress is so comfortable. This is the first time I've bought a mattress like this. Usually I've always had the box spring and the mattress or for the last 20 years I've had a waterbed. I took a chance with this mattress not knowing what to expect and I love it.The only thing I wish I would have known is the spacing between crossbars in the frame. I bought a platform frame and it had too big of a gap according to the paperwork that comes with the mattress. I ended up having to go to Lowe's and buy a quarter inch plywood and have it cut to fit the inside of the frame. That was kind of a pain in the butt but nonetheless it worked. Been sleeping comfortably ever since.P.S. Never had any chemical smell others reported.

I had memory pads and a Tempurpedic mattress. I love this one. I am a heavy 260 pounds and like hard beds. This is a really firm mattress, still impressed with the quality. My Tempurpedic cost $2,800 and still do not think it was worth it. This mattress is colder (I live in the tropics in Puerto Rico). It was the same firmness (medium) as my Tempurpedic. But this is great, I was almost afraid just for the cost difference and I also picked the cheapest one so I was kind of worried. It is a great buy. I have read others had problem with the smell so I was kind mentally prepared for it but after the 3rd day, it got really subtle. Is so good I think I am going to try the pillows!

I am a back sleeper and I had been experiencing pain on a daily morning basis with my old mattress. I am thrilled with the essential casper. After the first night's sleep I noticed I no longer had neck pain. After the second night's sleep and since then, both neck and back pain had stopped. So far I don't find it to be a heat trapping mattress. I will of course update this review anything changes or unreasonably degrades, but hopefully it won't. I use this mattress with the casper foundation to hopefully ensure longevity.I will also say do your research. Some people with various sleep preferences (side, back, stomach) and different body weight might/might not like this particular mattress. YMMV.
