Cleanest food for a low fat prescription diet I've found.

Our dog developed severe pancreatitis. It was touch and go for weeks. At 4 weeks his labs returned to normal. We could begin the transition from the necessary home cooked but nutritionally poor slurry to a prescription diet. We tried the usual brands and just didn’t like the ingredients. We discovered this Blue Wilderness prescription ‘id’ and the difference was night and day. Our dog loves it and is back to his happy, healthy self. It’s been 2 1/2 months and we couldn’t be happier. We initially fed just canned as we transitioned but he now has moved to dry with the occasional mix in of the canned food as a treat. We highly recommend this food!

We have 6 dogs, all rescues. They had a rough start in life, so we spoil them all incessantly! I know dry dog food must get boring, so always add chopped up broccoli, carrots or peas, too. Wanted to add a bit more protein as we hike alot so they get tons of exercise, but have to be careful as 2 of our dogs have some digestive issues. Decided to give this brand a try. It is Rx only, but they contact your vet for you, which is great. And best of all, the dogs love it! Just wish it wasn't so pricey.

Was hoping my dog would eat this because the ingredients seem much better than most low fat dog foods. He recently had pancreatitis so low fat food is a must from here on out. This food seems much more watered down than other canned food we’ve tried. I have resorted to home made dog food.
