This is exactly what I needed to cover the hard plastic platen of a very inexpensive turntable that I bought. It should be much easier on the records, and it looks better too.

I am not an audiophile by any stretch of the imagination, but I have noticed less static noise and pops since I put this on my turntable and listened to a few of my records. I have to say, that in my opinion, this mat performed exceedingly well for me. The fit is perfect and all of that makes me feel that it was worth buying.The only criticism I have is the way it came packaged. In a very thin plastic bag, with no writing on it. When taking out the mat there was a lot of static.Thank you.

Ordered the mat Wednesday evening. Was here by Saturday. Thanksgiving day was in between. The mat is in great condition and is as described. Looking forward to using it with my old vinyls.

I have a travel-designed turntable that sorely needed a replacement pad, this fits quite well and is very easy to clean. My records sound good and this protects them from the plate nicely.
